I would like to welcome a few new members to Team Trellon as permanent additions to our development unit.

We are fortunate enough to be adding not one, but two people named Alan in a single month. That is probably not a record, but it is nice to only have to learn one name. The similarities don't end there, however, and we are happy to be having two technolgists with a serious commitment to the open source community coming on board.

Alan Doucette is joining our team this month as a lead developer. In this role, he is going to be responsible for building out some of the innovative solutions we provide to clients, as well as being active in the mid-Atlantic open source community. Alan is an expert in intergrating Drupal with external systems, both as a client and a provider of content. He also possesses a strong interest in CRM solutions. Look for him at Drupal and CiviCRM meetups.

Alan is a prolific contributor to the Drupal project and maintains or co-maintains a number of modules, including Better Formats, REST Client, Active Tags, Google Groups and Amazon Web Services and many, many others. He has founded and provided leadership to a number of technology groups including JaxPHP, JaxWeb, AITP-FCCJ, and AITP-Jax. Within the Drupal community, he is a frequent code and documentation contributor and is very active in user groups.

Alan Palazzolo is also joining us this month as a lead developer. He will be providing leadership on the development of client projects and staying active in mid-west open source communities. One of his specialties is GIS integration with open source systems and he is an expert with data visualization. Look for him in the Twin Cities Drupal User Group and Twin Cities Free Geek meetups.

Alan holds a degree in Computer Information Systems and loves open source, both from an academic and professional perspective. He maintains or co-maintains a number of Drupal modules, including GMap Field, CiviMap and Changelog Reader. Alan participates in the Drupal community by contributing modules, documentation and support to new users, and contributes to the CiviCRM forums as well.

Welcome to the team guys, I could not be more pleased to have you with us! Trellon is still hiring by the way, don't forget to tell your friends.
