In just over a week I will be presenting at the Calgary Open Source Systems Festival (COSSFEST) on how to create Web 2.0 websites using Drupal. COSSFEST is a two day event featuring multiple speaking tracks and workshops demonstrating the use of Open Source to lower costs, and increase the capabilities and competitiveness of your business. Beginning in 2006 as an effort by the Calgary Linux Users Group and was called the "Calgary LinuxFest 2006". With the success of that event and a growth in both size and topics covered it was renamed to the "Calgary Open Source Systems Festival".
I'll be showing people how to leverage Drupal's vast array of user contributed modules to rapidly create websites, plus focusing on how to do development the Drupal way. My slides will be available here after the event is over. COSSFEST 2009 will be held April 17th and 18th 2009 at the Coast Plaza Hotel in Calgary. Hopefully I'll see some fellow Drupalers in attendance.
