Drupal Development on a Global Scale

Trellon is a virtual environment where “the office” is an internet chat room, and the team is spread across physical locations including Washington DC, California, Paris, and Australia. It’s a working environment that presents unique challenges. How do we maintain code standards? Coordinate teams of developers? Provide general oversight of projects? To succeed we’ve leveraged powerful open source tools and created rigorous processes for developing world class Drupal websites, and at Drupalcon Copenhagen this August we will share these practices with you!

We’re excited to announce that Trellon will be offering a training session on Monday, August 23, as a part of Drupalcon Copenhagen. This session will focus on sharing the tools and practices we use when developing some of the world’s most successful Drupal websites. During the eight-hour session, our four instructors will each be giving two-hour lessons, interspersed with dedicated hands-on training. We’ll begin by showing the ins and outs of Redmine, a fantastic open source project management tool. Redmine’s advanced features include code repositories integration for easy issue tracking and streamlined development. You will learn best practices for staging and deploying websites using git, the use of automated code analysis tools, and how to use a variety of tools for collaboration between team members. Best of all, you will receive access to a preconfigured Amazon Machine Instance (AMI) with the tools we’re talking about, installed and ready to go.

Spend a day with us in Copenhagen and get the collaborative tools your team needs to build Drupal websites at a lightning fast pace. If you can’t make the training but will be at the conference, then be sure to drop by the Trellon booth to get the inside information on what Trellon can do for you. Hope to see you there!
