Blue Planet Run
Blue Planet Run is a groudbreaking event for the world's water supply - literally. 100 runnners left NYC last spring and ran around the world to promote clean drinking water efforts globally. Trellon helped the cause by creating a site that promotes the run and get users involved with multimedia presentations, status updates from the runners, fundraising forms and more. Information was collected from people all along the race route through CRM forms and other tools.
National Democratic Institute
Aswat is an online forum and resource center established by the National Democratic Institue (NDI), to foster conversation about politics and reform in the Arabic-speaking world. Trellon delivered the platform for a one-stop access to regional news; multi-lingual library of documents; and opportunities for direct dialogue, sharing and collaboration among users, through open forums, blogs, translation, and rating systems functionalities.
One Economy Corporation
247townhall.org, part of the One Economy Corporation, is a unique civic engagement website. It uses technology to make it easy for people to share ideas, discuss topics and learn about issues. Trellon created a Drupal Site with voice-recorded comments and stories, open forums, and locale based communities.
Corporate Leavers
The Corporate Leavers website, a project of the Level Playing Field Institute, aims to identify, quantify and remove the hidden biases and barriers in the workplace, providing invaluable insight as to what employers can do to keep their employees. The website features interactive flash environments, research and best practices for employees and employer alike.
Columbia Daily Spectator
Columbia Daily Spectator is the daily newspaper, written by Columbia University undergraduates, servicing the university community and the neighborhood. Trellon created a Drupal site for the online edition of the paper, with features including multimedia slideshows, reader polling/commenting, and content archiving.
MSNBC Voter Alert Line
Voter disenfranchisement is serious, and, in 2004, MSNBC made a commitment to exposing the truth. Trellon supplied MSNBC with a comprehensive mapping solution down to the state level to show where problems exist and give voters a direct voice to the media when they ran into problems at their voting locations. The site was featured on the news station throughout the night.
Pearl Harbor Survivors Project
The Pearl Harbor Survivors Project connects survivors and publishes their stories. Trellon produced an online community website complete with interactive mapping and fully integrated Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) functionality to record survivor stories to help preserve this vital piece of American history for the 21st Century.
Ironweed Films
Ironweed Films distributes Progressive and independent films through the Ironweed Film Club to make sure that independent voices are heard. Trellon created a website for Ironweed that integrates a Drupal-based web community with a proprietary ecommerce solution.
Sunlight Foundation
The Sunlight Foundation seeks to strengthen the relationship between lawmakers and the people they represent through transperency and technology. Trellon built the Sunlight Network web site to organize communities of people to come to together online and offline to use their collective power to achieve greater openness in Congress.
Active Living Network
The Active Living Network seeks to reverse the growing trend in obesity in the United States by focusing on how the built environment including neighborhoods, transportation systems, buildings, parks and open space can promote more active lives. Trellon built an online community website with innovative features including AJAX-enabled search. The site also prominently displays Trellon's Flash development prowess.
Congress for the New Urbanism
Congress for the New Urbanism hosted multiple online databases of member and project information in separate formats. Management was a pain to say the least. Trellon provided comprehensive web development services which included a unified membership directory, greatly reducing the cost to maintain the site overall. All that and a great looking site to boot!
Prader Willi Foundation
The mission of the Foundation for Pradar-Willi Reserach is to improve the lives of children and secure their future through the advancement of research on Prader-Willi syndrome. Trellon built a comprehensive web presence for ther Foundation to disseminate information about the illness, to process applications by researchers for financial suppport from the Foundation, and to solicit donations.
State of Change
State of Change connects effective nonprofits advancing positive change at a State level. Trellon's web solution for SoC, currently in a pre-release version, combines a beautiful design wit sophisticated search functionality and professional fundraising tools.
21st Century Democrats
21st Century Democrats' mission is to catalyze a new movement by seeking out, training, and supporting extraordinary, visionary leaders. Trellon overhauled their website, giving them the new look and functionality they needed to establish a solid online presence before the 2006 elections.
Crossleft
CrossLeft is the leading online commmunity for grassroots activism among progressive Christians. Trellon donated setup and ongoing hosting services for CrossLeft.org, which has since generated 100,000s of media impressions and recently reached a milestone of sorts by being pilloried on the air by Rush Limbaugh.
Biota Spring Water
BIOTA Water is perhaps the world's most socially conscience bottled water company. Instead of using petroleum based (and non-biodegradable) plastic containers, BIOTA is bottled in corn-based bottles that do not hang around our Earth for 1,000 years. Trellon created a Drupal website that allows BIOTA to spread the word about its innovative product and grow its client base.
Communities for Clean Ports
Communities for Clean Ports is an environmental advocacy organization aimed at protecting communities surrounding California's ports from the hazardous effects of shipping. Trellon provided CCP with a full-featured Drupal-based issue advocacy website.
MomsRising
MomsRising works to bring millions of people who share a common concern about the need to build a more family-friendly America together as a non-partisan force for the 2008 Elections. Trellon established an online community for MomsRising, including blog, forum, and mailing list functionality, that allows MomsRising to organize their supporters to cause change.
Ben Westlund for Governor
Running a statewide campaign as an independent candidate is hard work. Trellon imported the state of Oregon's entire voter file, reengineered and customized CiviCRM's search utilities and provided strategic consulting on the deployment of information, greatly simplifying the collection and distribution of voter data.
