With each week that DrupalCon Denver is coming nearer, the excitement in the community grows. At Trellon, we're not immune to that excitement, and we're proud to be a Platinum sponsor of Drupalcon Denver. Boosted Varnish - High Performance Caching made easy

Varnish and Boost are normally seen as one-or-the-other. However this does not need to be the case. This article introduces a configuration which allows any site running Boost to run Varnish additionally and make the site both much faster and much more scalable. It also allows you to make use of Boost's advanced expiration features (until the expire module is finished) and combine this with Varnish. I'll show an easy howto method for adding Varnish, and - for those being more experienced in VCL - why this works the way it does.

Trellon sessions in Drupalcon's Chicago final day

Yesterday, Trellon had a great day here in Chicago, and we're very happy to announce another great line-up of Trellon sessions today.

We'll be hosting a BoF where Kyle Cunningham will get In Depth with Haml, Sass and Peroxide in the Arkansas Room starting at 1:00pm. This will be a followup to his session yesterday.

This is a message for everyone attending Drupalcon Copenhagen.

Trellon will be holding a training workshop called Drupal Fundamentals: Building a Collaborative Development Environment. This is the same training we have provided to some of our larger organizational clients, and the first time we are making it available to a public audience.

We Work on the Internet, but Our Hearts Belong to Paris

It's been about a week since returning from Drupalcon Paris, and the consensus at Trellon is that we wish it never had to end. Many of the members of our team have been going to Drupalcons for a long time, and this was definitely one of the most memorable ones on record.

It was great getting to come out and support the community, and what a community it is these days! Being there, you got the sense of how much enthusiasm is building around Drupal, with so many people with different perspectives about what to do with the platform. While attendance was not as high as some previous events, that owed more to the venue than anything else, and you had the sense it made for a better experience.

Affinity Labs in Washington, D.C. was mobbed Wednesday night by a crowd of Drupal open source developers eager to share ideas and knowledge about their latest projects.
